Pancreatic Necrosis Debridement (Necrosectomy)
OPERATION: Pancreatic Necrosectomy — Debridement of Infected Pancreatic Necrosis
ANAESTHETIC: General anaesthesia
ANTIBIOTICS: IV broad-spectrum antibiotics continued from pre-operative period
POSITION: Supine. Cell salvage in circuit. Type and crossmatch — 2-4 units packed cells.

INDICATION:
Infected pancreatic necrosis following severe acute pancreatitis. CT-confirmed infected necrosis [CT severity index / pancreatic necrosis extent]. Failed or not suitable for endoscopic or radiological drainage. Clinical deterioration — sepsis, organ failure, or failure to improve despite maximal support.

PROCEDURE:
WHO Checklist performed. Full abdomen prepared. ICU liaison confirmed for post-operative care.
