INGUINAL HERNIA REPAIR (LAPAROSCOPIC) (TAPP)

Indication: Symptomatic inguinal or femoral hernia. Suitable for direct, indirect, and femoral hernias. Can be performed laparoscopically or robotically. Preferred where prior preperitoneal dissection limits TEP approach.

Patient Position: Supine, Trendelenburg.

Anaesthesia: General with muscle relaxation.

Prophylactic Antibiotics: Per local protocol.

Ports: Three ports placed (umbilical camera port; two lateral working ports).
