FUNDOPLICATION (LAPAROSCOPIC) (TOUPET)

Indication: GORD with impaired oesophageal motility, or where a partial wrap is preferred to reduce risk of postoperative dysphagia and gas bloat. Posterior 270° partial fundoplication.

Patient Position: Supine, reverse Trendelenburg.

Anaesthesia: General.

Ports: Five laparoscopic ports.

Procedure:
1. Peritoneal cavity entered and inspected.
