SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY (LAPAROSCOPIC)

Indication: Morbid obesity (BMI ≥40 or ≥35 with metabolic comorbidities) as primary bariatric procedure or as first-stage procedure in high-risk patients.

Patient Position: Supine, reverse Trendelenburg. Split-leg or arms out.

Anaesthesia: General.

Ports: Four to five laparoscopic ports.

Procedure:
1. Peritoneal cavity entered and inspected.
