Pus sent for culture and sensitivity.
Deroofing of abscess cavity with removal of unhealthy skin.
Pus evacuated. Curettage performed.
Haemostasis achieved. Wound washed with saline.
Packed with Sorbact. Dressing applied.

POST-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS:
Home same day if well.
Alternate day dressings from the following day.
