RIGHT HEMICOLECTOMY (LAPAROSCOPIC)

Indication: Carcinoma of the caecum, ascending colon, or hepatic flexure. Laparoscopic approach offers comparable oncological outcomes with reduced morbidity.

Patient Position: Supine, left lateral tilt, Trendelenburg.

Anaesthesia: General.

Ports: Four to five laparoscopic ports. Small extraction site (right or suprapubic).

Procedure:
1. Pneumoperitoneum established. Peritoneal cavity explored.
